Mainamantarey Homestay is located in Chuikhim village, a serene and friendly mountain retreat in the Kalimpong hills of Darjeeling district. Situated at 3,500 feet above sea level, Chuikhim is a small, peaceful village with about 250 families living amidst lush greenery. A thin stream, the Leesh Chu River, flows gently by, adding to the natural charm of the area.
Chuikhim is a paradise for bird watchers, with many Himalayan bird species easily spotted. Visitors can trek around the village and through the Chel forest, exploring the untouched beauty of the region. Popular nearby attractions include Lolegaon (23 km) and Samtahar (25 km).
