The Serene Acres Farmstay, Chisang offers a unique experience combining agro-tourism with the warmth of local hospitality. Established in December 2020, this farmstay promotes the development of the local community, celebrating their art, economy, and way of life. With generations of experience in organic farming, the family behind Serene Acres specializes in cultivating a variety of crops. A highlight here is the large cardamom, or “bada dana Elaichi,” as well as other unique crops like the exotic Shiitake mushroom and medicinal plants such as Yacón and black turmeric. These are grown not only for their natural benefits but also for commercial purposes, supporting the local economy.
Guests can immerse themselves in the beautiful landscapes of Chisang while learning about traditional farming methods and even trying their hand at some of the processes.
